Membership is exclusive to those who are a shoreliner on Lake Balboa, or have a boat at the Balboa Marina.

Activity Participation Agreement & Release of Liability:

By applying for membership in the Balboa Yacht Club, I hereby acknowledge that I have knowingly and willingly entered an activity participation agreement, by and between myself and Balboa Yacht Club, and/or their members/agents. I understand the terms, provisions and conditions of the activity access agreement and will abide by its terms, provisions and conditions. I further acknowledge and understand that no warranty, either expressed or implied, is made by Balboa Yacht Club as to the safety associated with any activity.

This notice is sufficient warning that dangerous conditions, risks and hazards do exist. My presence and activities on the premises expose both me and my property to dangerous conditions, risks and hazards, including but not limited to boating on Lake Balboa, Hot Springs Village, AR which could rapidly rising and rushing water on lakes creating rough, hazardous conditions. I hereby state that I expressly assume all such dangers, risks and hazards. The person(s) entering into this agreement acknowledge by their membership application that this activity is an inherently dangerous activity and agree that Balboa Yacht Club, its members and/or agents will not be held responsible for any accidents, injuries or deaths which may occur during the terms of this agreement.

As used in this release, the terms I, my person and myself include minors in my care while on the leased premises.
